Alicia Calloway
Vice President of Rural Health Partnerships
Alicia Calloway joined the OPYS team in May 2019 as the Director of Operations, then Chief Operating Officer, and in 2022 took on the role as Vice President of Rural Health Partnerships. She currently supports the Company in all of its strategic Rural Health involvements.
Alicia came to OPYS with 10+ years of healthcare staffing and management experience in a wide array of areas from scheduling, recruiting, and credentialing, to business development, operations management and strategic planning. She is a proven leader in business and medical operations in a rapidly changing, fast-paced industry.
She has a heart for healthcare, but especially providing service to the rural areas of the country, and truly wants to help rural hospitals succeed under what are sometimes seen as unsurmountable odds. Elected to the Board of Directors, and later becoming the Chief Operating Officer for the Rural Health Association of Tennessee, Alicia is excited to further effect positive change in rural communities in her home state. She recognizes the true need for rural hospitals to find a way through these challenging times, and wants to do everything she can to be a part of that solution.
In her free time, you will usually find Alicia on her farm with her husband, son, 4 dogs, and her horse, Chance. She also makes time for her passion in music, performing with local bands in her area.
