Chief Operating Officer
Alicia Calloway joined the OPYS team in May 2019 as the Director of Operations and has since moved into the Chief Operating Officer role. She currently oversees all day to day operations across all departments, helps to market and grow the business, and works to build and improve teams across the organization to support growth and development in achieving our goals in providing quality service to the patients, providers, and communities we serve.
Alicia came to OPYS with 10+ years of healthcare staffing and management experience in a wide array of areas from scheduling, recruiting, and credentialing, to business development, operations management and strategic planning. She is a proven leader in business and medical operations in a rapidly changing, fast-paced industry.
In her free time, you will usually find Alicia with her husband, son and 4 dogs. She also makes time for her passion in music, performing with local bands or providing DJ services to local venues. She has a heart for healthcare, but especially providing service to the rural areas of the country, and truly wants to help rural hospitals succeed under what are sometimes seen as unsurmountable odds. She feels there is a true need for rural hospitals to find a way through the difficult times at hand and she wants to be part of that solution.
