Mia Chapin is the Company’s Administrative Director, Operations.  With a demonstrated and innate ability to both execute objectives, and manage a team, Mia has exceled in her previous role as Corporate Special Projects Manager.  Mia demonstrated areas of value and opportunity in both provider service, and performance for the company and partnering hospitals.  Additionally, the ability to problem solve, and lead by example has exemplified her contributions and work ethic.

In the first year since joining OPYS, Mia’s experience, professionalism, and passion made her a wonderful and welcomed addition to the OPYS team as Project Manager!  In her role, Mia lead our administrative and operational projects involving physician and group practice performance.  With a track record of success, Mia helped ensure excellence in service delivery to our facility partners and hospital clients.

Previously as a Financial Sales Consultant for PNC, Mia worked closely with bank business partners and was known as one of the top revenue credit earners for the region, driving sales in a fast-paced workplace.  Mia constantly exceeded the goals set for her and was regularly recognized for her achievements, leadership, and innovation.  Utilizing her multicultural background, volunteer work experience, and fluency in Mandarin, Mia established herself as a liaison to the Asian community in central Indiana, initiating and strengthening bonds throughout the community.  Dedicated to excellence, Mia served as Secretary of PNC’s Central Indiana Multicultural EBRG leadership team and as corporate liaison, attending community events and establishing and managing business relationships with organizations and sponsors.

Mia completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in 2010, majoring in Communications and Journalism at one of the country’s top universities, Xiamen University.  A testament to her determination, Mia was selected as one of only three exchange students during her studies at Xiamen, to study at Chung-Ang University in Seoul, South Korea in 2009.  Originally from China, Mia moved to Indiana in 2011 with her husband James, where they raise two large dogs, play video games, and continue to make memories together.

Mia finds her greatest motivations to be learning new skills and interests throughout life and sharing her discoveries with others.  We’re proud to have Mia on the OPYS team!
